joint and develop an evidence based treatment

algorithm will further refine the treatment of

patellofemoral instability and maltracking.

The Lyon Knee School has been of major

importance in the development of diagnostics

and treatment approaches for patellofemoral

pathology. And it is without any doubt that the

“good old” and biomechanical powerfull ET

procedure as described by Albert Trillat will

keep its central place in the tools for the surgeon

to treat patellofemoral pathology.
