elongation
of the ACL as is the case in a (a)
interstitial tear or a (b) single bundle tear or
(2) an initial
complete rupture of the ACL that
has partially scarred
to the (a) notch or (b) on
the PCL (Table 2). Functionally, both situa-
tions could eventually lead to a status com-
parable to a complete ACL tear in a number
of patients. However, a number of patients
will not suffer from instability but could
become symptomatic later on due to secon-
dary cartilage or meniscus degeneration, etc.
