CONCLUSION

Depending on the degree of tibial deformity,

range of motion, position of the patella and

specific problems after an osteotomy total

knee arthroplasty can be more difficult if it is

the second operation after high tibial osteo-

tomy. But the degree of difficulty differs and

necessitates a classification of the knee befo-

re total knee arthroplasty. We hypothesize

that our classification system can help to

have realistic expectations according to diffi-

culty of the operation and outcome of TKA

after HTO.
